TRASH

The term 'trash' refers to any useless residue or unwanted material that is intended to be discarded.

Trash differs from those waste materials that can be reused or recycled.

Trash is the mixture of organic and inorganic waste.

When waste is clean and separated from its source, it is no longer trash; it becomes raw material in the wrong place.

Organic waste is useless to those who do not know what to do with it and are unaware of its richness.

At FOCA SYSTEMS, we have developed a technology to transform organic waste from food, fruits, vegetables, plants, foliage, peels, and seeds of "all colors of food, clean and separated from their origin," along with a load of natural minerals, into a superfood for nourishing soil microorganisms, without fermenting or decomposing the waste, in just 2 to 4 days.

This process reduces the volume of organic waste by 85%.

The transformation creates a superfood called FOCA that provides all the necessary nutrients and minerals to the plant through the microorganisms excretions, which the plant converts into phytonutrients, helping it grow stronger and defend itself against diseases and pests, resulting in more and better food, even before expected.

REDUCTION OF LANDFILL VOLUME FOR TRASH

Out of 100% of waste, 50% is organic waste transformed through FOCA SYSTEMS technology. The remaining 50% is inorganic waste, of which only 10% is currently recycled worldwide. However, if clean and separated, there is a high possibility of recycling 25%, which means recycling 150% more than current rates.

Another 5% can be reclaimed by making use of unclassified or contaminated glass and plastics that are currently not being utilized and are sent to landfills.

This would result in an 80% reduction in landfill volume.

FOCA SYSTEMS AND GLOBAL WARMING

FOCA SYSTEMS is a technology that does not ferment waste, thereby avoiding the emissions of methane, which is one of the greenhouse gases responsible for global warming.

When FOCA is applied to the soil, carbon is fixed in the ground, which is known as carbon sequestration.

As a major benefit, we recover the richness and biodiversity of the soil to have more and better, healthy and safe food.

In other words, we contribute to the reduction of waste volume and its contamination, prevent and sequester an equivalent amount of carbon, and also contribute to health and food safety.
